THE NEW POLISH HERITAGE CENTER AT PANNA MARIA, TEXAS held a GRAND OPENING CEREMONY on Saturday and Sunday, October 23 & 24, 2021.
The center is located at 13909 FM 81, Panna Maria, TX 78144
and will be open to the public Thursdays through Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The admission fee is $10.00 for adults and children under 12 $5.00.
“Thanks to the many donors and supporters who have helped make Bishop John W. Yanta’s vision a reality, the Polish Heritage Center is now open to the public for everyone to enjoy and be inspired by the history and contributions of the first Polish settlers!”
“The Polish Heritage Center features permanent educational state-of-the-art exhibits in production by … professional exhibits design team of experts. These include history and Polish heritage scholars and researchers, videographers, graphic artists, and translators with Steve Harding Design, Inc. Custom designed imagery and story narratives will be supported by interactive audio and video throughout thematic areas.
The new 16,500 square foot Polish Heritage Center at Panna Maria, Texas will be a destination for families, educators, students, researchers, and tourists interested in exploring this Polish-American historical tribute.”
